  • Get rid of the fence in front of your building, or at least minimize it.

Project Information

What is a neighborly home? Browse through DIY Neighborhood: Logan Square, a guide to neighborly building design in Logan Square, for ideas that work for your home. This could include:
  • Getting rid of your fence.
  • Grilling in front of your home.
  • Planting some flowers in your windows.
  • Holding more stoop parties.

The booklet is divided into sections for renters, condo owners and boards, landlords and people who want to start co-ops. Pick a project that you're interested in, and try it! It's not hard to sit on your porch or stoop.

This project is an extension of Neighbors Project's successful DIY Neighborhood: Logan Square event in July 2007, in which we profiled neighborly homes in Logan Square.
